Tucked inside West 'Coast' Park, set within the working City Sprouts Farm at 40 West Coast Ferry Road, sits a space most people walking the park don't know exists. This is Wildlings West Coast Park. A private and magical space built for children to explore, play, learn and grow. This is Forest School and outdoor education delivered authentically, in one of Singapore's most underrated green spaces that is On The Up. Maybe its all in the name? 'West Coast' Park sounds a long way away, but its not actually 'west' at all if you check out the map below, more south-west (these days - since a lot of what is west of it is man-made!), and just minutes from Clementi, Queenstown and Bukit Timah with excellent transport links to condos such as the Interlace, Normanton Park and Varsity Park Condominium to name just a few.

Four connected outdoor spaces in one

Wildlings West Coast Park is not a made-up place tag for a pretend 'venue' that is actually an NPark's location (with all their rules and restrictions), it is our second leased premises, designed and built to deliver our programmes to our customers to the quality standards we hold ourselves to. You need to be permitted to dig the land, plant the soil, create habitats for the wildlife an so on if you want to offer real outdoor education experiences in Singapore. So what make's up Wildlings West Coast Park?

Wildlings' Adventure Playgarden. A 160sqm outdoor adventure play garden. Its wonderfully shaded after 2 years of growth, its designed for children, full of loose parts such as pipes to create irrigation channels to wagons to ride around the farm, there are climbing structures, a nature kitchen and everything children need for self-directed nature playtime, away from screens and in the fresh air.

Wildlings' Eco-Centre. Our 170sqm indoor all-weather base. Somewhere to regroup during tropical downpours, a place to host a birthday party and enjoy some relaxed play. There is a library corner, knot tying, activity booklets, shelter building, hydroponics, construction materials and more.

The City Sprouts Farm A working urban farm with chickens, lawn, allotments, spice garden, fruit forest, community hall (great for big parties and bouncy castles), and soon to re-open cafe. There's parking nearby at West Coast Park car park 2.

West Coast Park has BBQ pits for marshmallow toasting, campsite for overnight family camps, adventure playground, mangrove forest and walk, coastal zone, large sports field, water ways and more. We work with Salt-n-Light Archery nearby and there is a new therapeutic garden opposite the farm.

You will not find this combination anywhere else in Singapore. It is why parents from across the island, and schools from all over the country, are beginning to choose West Coast Park for outdoor adventures.

What's on at Wildlings West Coast Park

We run five core experiences from Wildlings West Coast Park. Each one is built around the same principles from the Forest Schools ethos: risk is managed but children are allowed to challenge themselves, our programmes are designed around children, families and our unique envoronment, exoperiences connect particpants with the natural world and we have experienced and trusted educators who know what they are doing wirth everything from a mini-beast to a bow-saw.

1. Nature Playtime

Open, unstructured nature play for families. Drop in, let your children lead, watch them build, climb, make and explore at their own pace. Nature Playtime is the easiest way to see what Wildlings West Coast Park is about, for children from around 18 months through primary age.

Great for first-time visitors, siblings of different ages and families who want outdoor time without a packed schedule. Soon to be enhanced with a new cafe and monthly farmers markets and bouncy castle sessions. Nature playtime runs regularly. Please check for the latest sessions here.

2. Forest School Sprouts (3 to 5 years)

Our Forest School Club is coming to Wildlings West Coast Park for 3 to 5 year olds (Sprouts group). This is a weekly Forest School session led by Forest School trained educators, focused on confidence, curiosity, real skills and land-based connection.

We are currently gathering interest and we expect to hit minimum numbers very soon. If you want your child to start in the next intake, register now. Places are held in order of enquiries.

3. School Holiday Camps

Wildlings West Coast Park runs holiday camps across school breaks, including our flagship summer collaboration with City Sprouts. Forest School meets the farm. Two of Singapore's most respected outdoor educators in one programme.

Current upcoming camps include:

• Sprouts & Sunbirds Discover Camp (3.5 to 6 years). Forest School nature play, planting and harvesting on the farm, Nature Kitchen, mini-beast hunts and outdoor cooking.

• Hornbills & Eagles Challenge Camp (6.5 to 11 years). Bushcraft, shelter building, campfire cooking, tool use, team missions, geocaching and environmental science. Real skills, real challenge.

• Wild Cooking, Art & Adventure Camp (7 to 12 years). Campfire cooking over real fire, natural dyeing, clay work, bushcraft and adventure across the wider park.

Camps run week by week. Add-ons like our camp extension (breakfast club and extended play) and a bus to Wildlings Dempsey are available for families who need longer days.

4. School Excursions

Wildlings runs educational school excursions at West Coast Park for nurseries, preschools and primary schools. The basic package includes an interactive farm tour (30-40mins) followed by nature playtime. We curate our popular learning journeys to meet a school's curriculum objectives and have a multitude of experiences to choose from to add-on to the basic package, from using forest school tools to make a picture holder to a mangrove walk and coastal discovery. Excursions are led by Forest School trained educators who are child first-aid and child Safeguarding trained. Your group gets exclusive access to Wildlings' Adventure Playgarden and Wildlings' Eco-Centre (so weather is never a blocker) and shared use of the wider City Sprouts Farm.

For teachers planning outdoor learning days, away days and curriculum-linked excursions, at Wildlings you get the venue, educators, programme and wet-weather backup in one booking.

5. Birthday Parties

Outdoor birthday parties at Wildlings West Coast Park have something for everyone. Every basic package includes exclusive use of Wildlings, party games, a creative experience and nature-connection activity along with your choice activity to customise your party. The rest of the time is for fabulous self-guided play, socilaising and party food.

You can add-on the 190sqm Community Hall which is air-conditioned and can accommodate a bouncy castle and activities even in the worst of the weather that Singapore can throw at us.
