PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, CONSENT, AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY FOR DROP-OFF FOREST SCHOOL SESSIONS

 

Wildlings staff are trained in first aid, carry first aid kits, and complete risk assessments of activities in line with our Safety at Forest School policy. We are committed to providing a safe environment while maintaining the adventurous nature of our programmes.

Assumption and Acknowledgement of Risks

I, the undersigned adult, am at least 18 years of age and the parent/legal guardian of the listed minor(s). I understand that participation in outdoor and nature-based activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to insect bites, snake bites, falls, slips, uneven terrain, falling branches, contact with poisonous plants, fungus or animal life, scratches or bites from wildlife, cuts and burns from tools, cooking fires or BBQs. I acknowledge that such risks cannot be completely eliminated without jeopardising the essential qualities of the experience, and I voluntarily accept these risks on behalf of myself and my child(ren).

Waiver of Certain Claims

To the extent permitted by Singapore law, I agree not to hold Wildlings Pte Ltd, its staff, or volunteers liable for injuries or damages arising from the ordinary risks of participation in outdoor play and education. This waiver does not exclude liability for gross negligence, recklessness, or wilful misconduct. I understand that despite all precautions, injuries may occur and I accept responsibility for these risks.

Medical Aid and Emergency Consent

I consent to Wildlings staff providing basic first aid to my child(ren) if needed. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorise Wildlings to secure emergency medical services as deemed necessary and agree to bear any resulting costs. I confirm that my child(ren) are in good physical condition to safely participate.

Insurance

I acknowledge that I am responsible for ensuring adequate medical insurance coverage for my child(ren). Wildlings maintains public liability insurance appropriate to its operations.

 

Personal Data Protection

Wildlings collects and uses personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore. Information provided will be used solely for programme administration, safety, and legal purposes, and will not be shared with third parties for marketing or other unrelated purposes without consent.

Consent and Acknowledgement

By signing this waiver, I confirm that I have read and understood its contents. I acknowledge that I am giving up certain legal rights voluntarily. This agreement shall be binding upon me, my heirs, successors, and assigns. If any portion is found unenforceable under Singapore law, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
