About
*Gates open at 9.15am, programme starts at 9.30am* This is 13 Week Term Term 3 dates: 30 Aug to 11 Oct (7 weeks) Break: 13 Oct to 25 Oct Resume: 1 Nov to 6 Dec (6 weeks) Wildlings Forest School Club (Ages 6.5–10) At Wildlings Forest School Club, we challenge children aged 6.5 to 10 to take ownership of their learning, test their limits, and build confidence to lead, problem-solve, and think independently. This is a program designed for both fun and personal growth. Why Join Wildlings Weekly Club? Children at this age are ready to be challenged. They’re capable of managing risk, taking initiative, and developing meaningful skills—when given the right environment. That’s what we offer: a place where bravery, resilience, and real-world learning take centre stage. a) Challenge & Growth: Children take on physical and mental challenges that build initiative, problem-solving, and perseverance. b) Risk Management: We teach them to assess and manage risk—building true confidence and responsibility. c) Real Skills: From building treehouses and bamboo bowers to cooking over real fires, children gain hands-on, practical knowledge through experience. d) Leadership & Teamwork: Group challenges develop communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. e) Independence & Resilience: Children are trusted to make decisions, test limits, and learn from mistakes in a safe, supportive setting. As well as weekly sessions, Club members are invited to a free excursion in Singapore and an end-of-term celebration at Dempsey. Exclusive discounts apply to club members across all Wildlings programs. What Happens Each Session: a) Arrival & Readiness: Children arrive ready to dive in. We set the tone—relaxed, adventurous, and full of can-do energy. b) Briefing & Group Warm-Up: We begin with team games or skill-building tasks to get minds switched on. c) Skill-Building & Exploration: Leaders offer activities based on children’s interests—ranging from nature crafts to catching tadpoles! d) Freedom to Explore: There’s always time for children to pursue their own ideas and goals under unobtrusive guidance. e) Debrief & Reflection: We close each session by sharing wins, learning from setbacks, and celebrating progress. Keeping Parents in the Loop: After each session, parents receive a written summary and a photo link to stay connected to their child’s journey. At term’s end, families are invited on-site to celebrate the children’s achievements together.
