PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE, AND INDEMNITY
This agreement is made between Wildlings Pte Ltd (“Wildlings”) and your organization, named below, acting on behalf of itself, its staff, and the participating students and accompanying adults (together, the “Participants”). By signing this agreement, the Organisation acknowledges and agrees as follows:

1. Acknowledgement of Inherent Risks
The Organisation understands and accepts that outdoor and nature-based activities involve inherent risks which cannot be fully eliminated without changing the essential character of the programme. Such risks may include, but are not limited to:
-
Slips, trips, and falls on uneven terrain.
-
Insect or wildlife encounters (bites, stings, scratches).
-
Contact with plants, seeds, or fungi that may cause allergic or toxic reactions.
-
Minor injuries from use of tools, equipment, and natural materials (cuts, bruises, splinters, burns from campfires, etc.).
-
Weather-related risks, including heat, rain, storms, and falling branches.

The Organisation confirms that these risks have been explained to Participants (and, where relevant, to their parents/guardians) and that all Participants are in suitable physical and medical condition to take part.

2. Responsibilities of Wildlings
Wildlings will:
-
Provide qualified facilitators who exercise reasonable care, skill, and judgment in leading activities.
-
Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate safety measures.
-
Provide and maintain equipment in good condition.
-
Ensure that at least one first-aid-trained staff member is present at each visit, unless the school has requested to manage first aid exclusively.

3. Responsibilities of the Organisation
The Organisation will:
-
Ensure that all Participants follow the instructions of Wildlings staff.
-
Provide accurate medical and emergency information for all Participants.
-
Supervise students and ensure adequate accompanying staff in line with school policy and ratios.
-
Confirm whether the school or Wildlings will provide first aid support during the visit.
-
Accept responsibility for any negligent or wilful misconduct by its staff or students.

4. Waiver and Release of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Organisation agrees on behalf of itself and the Participants to release and hold harmless Wildlings, its employees, and agents from liability for ordinary accidents and injuries arising from the inherent risks of outdoor activities, provided that Wildlings has exercised reasonable care in its operations.

This release does not apply to injury, loss, or damage caused by Wildlings’ gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or breach of statutory duty.
5. Medical Treatment and Insurance
-
Wildlings may, at its discretion, seek emergency medical treatment for a Participant if necessary.
-
The Organisation agrees to bear all associated medical costs and certifies that it has adequate insurance in place or will assume responsibility for such costs.
-
If the Organisation elects to provide its own first aid, Wildlings will defer to the Organisation except in an immediate life-threatening emergency.

6. Photography and Data Protection
-
Wildlings may take photographs or videos for the limited purpose of staff training only.
-
Wildlings will not use images of Participants for marketing, social media, or promotional purposes without the express prior consent of the Organisation’s trip lead.
-
Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
7. Governing Law and Severability
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising under this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
If any provision of this agreement is found unenforceable under Singapore law, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.

7. Consent and Agreement
By signing below, the Organisation confirms it is duly authorised to sign on behalf of the Participants (including students under 18 years of age and accompanying adults) and agrees to the terms of this waiver.
