This is a 9 week term. Term 2 dates: 15 Apr to 17 Jun 2026 (9 weeks) No session on 27 May 2026 (Hari Raya Puasa) Forest Cubs is where outdoor confidence really starts to grow. This accompanied playgroup is for children aged 2 to 3.5 years at Wildlings Dempsey, led by qualified Forest School Leaders. Children build on the foundations of Forest Babies and step further into real outdoor adventure. They climb, build, create, use simple tools like rubber mallets and explore with increasing independence, all with their caregiver alongside them. Our programme is designed around a termly theme and supports the development of the whole child through immersive nature play and carefully planned activities. Forest School builds self-confidence, resilience, curiosity and a strong connection with the natural world. Each session is planned by our Senior Forest School Leaders and adapted to the interests and abilities of the children in the group. There is no one-size-fits-all at Wildlings. What to expect: - Sensory-rich nature play with water, wildlife, sand and edible plants - An early introduction to simple tools and adventurous play - Arts and crafts using natural and sustainable materials - Physical challenges that develop coordination, balance and strength - Wet weather sessions in our all-weather outdoor classroom Session structure: 15 min free play arrival > Welcome circle and song > Warm-up game > Guided activities around the term theme > Child-led nature playtime > Mindful breathing or calming activity > Story time to close > Optional 30 minutes extra playtime This term families are invited to our end-of-term party and our annual Community Festival. In other terms we run family socials such as laser tag (Term 1) and raft building (Term 3). Returning Forest School families receive a 10% loyalty discount. Sibling discount: 15% off a second, third or fourth child when one child is enrolled at full or loyalty rate.
