Try Forest School at West Coast Park. This is a free trial for our combined drop-off Sprouts and Sunbirds programme, for children aged 3 to 5 years, held inside the 1 acre City Sprouts Farm at West Coast Park. Our Sprouts and Sunbirds group is full Forest School. Your child joins our community independently, without a parent nearby, building the confidence and social skills that come from spending real time outdoors. Sessions are not built around a fixed theme. They are shaped by the children, the environment, the seasons, cultural celebrations and what our experienced leaders observe in the group. Run by qualified Level 3 Forest School Practitioners, this is authentic, child-led outdoor education, not a one-off activity. West Coast Park offers a different landscape to our Dempsey site. Your child will explore our private nature space, the City Sprouts Farm and the wider park, with new discoveries each week. What your child will experience: - Nature exploration, wildlife discovery and farm experiences across the park - Physical games, team challenges and adventurous outdoor play - Nature arts and crafts with found and natural materials - Introduction to tools, knot tying and hands-on making - Den building, shelter construction and creative problem-solving - Water play, sensory exploration and growing Session structure: Arrival and free play > Welcome circle and warm-up game > Exploration time with guided activities > Child-led play and discovery > Closing circle and reflection > Farewells Please keep in mind: This is a drop-off programme. Please arrive on time and return for collection at the end. The collection point may vary depending on where the session's activities take place across the farm and park.
