Adventure camp for children 8.5-11yrs, 9.00AM-12.30PM, Monday to Friday. Our camp is designed to provide older children with an immersive and enriching experience in the great outdoors, inspired by the Forest School ethos. Here are some reasons why our camps are awesome: - Participant-Led Activities: Children take a leading role in choosing their experiences, making it a customized adventure unique to every group. - Nature-Based Activities: Our program includes activities to inspire a respect for the planet and stewardship for the future - Adventure and outdoor education preparation for school residentials including survival skills, outdoor cooking, and local nature & jungle walks. - Our team is composed of experienced professionals who are trained in the Forest School approach, first aid, and are passionate about helping children learn and grow in a safe and supportive environment. - Award-Winning: We've won Expat Living Readers' Choice Awards recognition three years in a row for our outstanding work in providing exceptional outdoor experiences for children in tropical Singapore. - Child Safeguarding: We are certified by Child Safeguarding, ensuring that our campers are safe and well-cared for at all times. - Unique Private Nature Spaces: Our camps take place in our beautiful and purposely designed nature spaces & local surrounds. Experiences (themed for the season - please see our brochure for updates): - Wilderness survival skills - Teamwork challenges designed by the participants - Adventure activities such a tree climbing and obstacle course challenge - Forest School tools and activities, including using whittling knives - Outdoor cooking and campfires - Nature arts and crafts - Environmental education - Nature exploration and observation Learning & Developmental Outcomes you can expect: - Improved physical development such as balance, climbing, coordination and strength. - Problem-solving and critical thinking skills as children are challenged to work together, plan and design and execute. - Confidence and resilience from both failure and success - be it striking a fire, building a shelter or climbing a tree. - Creativity and imagination through art in nature, self-guided social play & exploring or woodworking. - Respect for nature through environmental and sustainability experiences. - Teamwork, social skills & leadership - our camps have children from diverse backgrounds working together, with our Eagles often leading younger ages.
