About
Ignite your child’s curiosity, confidence, and love for the outdoors at our Adventure & Wild Cooking Camp, designed for children aged 7–12. Running Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 12.30pm, this unique program blends the excitement of outdoor adventure with hands-on culinary experiences in nature. Children will spend their mornings immersed in adventurous experiences and connecting with the natural world. Alongside these adventures, they’ll step into the role of chefs in our Wild Cooking sessions, where they’ll learn essential cooking skills, experiment with flavors, and discover the joy of preparing food over open flames and with foraged ingredients. From baking Christmas damper bread to foraging for edible plants and mixing refreshing botanical drinks, every activity is rooted in real-world learning, teamwork, and sensory exploration. Learning Outcomes: • Adventure & Resilience: Build confidence through outdoor challenges • Practical Life Skills: Learn safe cooking techniques, food hygiene, and outdoor tool use • Nature Appreciation: Connect food, environment, and sustainability through foraging and seasonal eating • Confidence & Independence: Grow self-assurance by tackling new challenges in cooking • Teamwork & Communication: Work together to prepare shared meals and complete group activities • Mindfulness & Presence: Engage all five senses while cooking, eating, and connecting with nature Who is it for?
