Your child's first step into a life outdoors starts here. Little Wildlings Bubs is an accompanied playgroup for children aged 12 to 24 months, run by qualified Forest School Leaders in our private nature space at Wildlings Dempsey. It is an immersive, sensory introduction to the natural world, designed to build the foundations of confidence, curiosity and physical competence from the very start. Children explore the natural world with their caregiver. They dig in soil, splash in water, handle natural materials, taste edible plants and move their bodies across uneven ground. Every session is carefully planned to develop the whole child, physically, socially, emotionally and creatively, in an environment that invites genuine discovery. What to expect: - Sensory play with water, sand and natural textures - First arts and crafts using natural and sustainable materials - Fine and gross motor skill development through outdoor movement - Wildlife observation and plant exploration - Free play in our purpose-built nature play garden Session structure: Arrival and free play (settling in) > Welcome circle > Warm-up activity > Guided exploration time > Child-led nature playtime > Songs and bubbles to close > Optional 30 minutes extra playtime Programme dates: 7 July to 19 August 2026. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 3.30 to 5.00pm. Seven weeks of sessions at Wildlings Dempsey, 27A Loewen Road. How it works: 1. Buy a Bubs Summer of Fun Pack. 4, 6 or 8 sessions, from $198 +GST. 2. Book each session online in advance. Bookings must be made at least 4 hours before the session start. 3. Come ready to embrace the great outdoors. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Our team prepares the class experiences based on confirmed bookings. Pack terms: packs are valid for the Summer of Fun programme only, 7 July to 20 August 2026. Unused sessions are forfeited at the end of the programme. Packs are non-refundable, cannot be transferred to Forest School term programmes or other Wildlings services, and cannot be shared outside your immediate household. Tuesday and Wednesday sessions in the same week follow the same activity plan. Thursdays at West Coast Park are different. Children should be capable of walking independently or with minimal assistance. One adult per child please. Instruction is in English. Our team is first aid trained, child safeguarding certified, and led by qualified Forest School Practitioners. Wildlings is a five-time Expat Living Readers' Choice Award winner.
