A complete day of hands-on outdoor adventure at our private nature space in Dempsey. Each one-day camp is a standalone programme. Every day is a distinct outdoor experience. Book one day, two days, or the whole week to suit your schedule. 9:00am to 3:00pm. Drop-off from 8:45am. Hornbills Adventure Camp builds practical outdoor skills, teamwork, resilience, problem-solving and confidence through real hands-on experience. The morning is our standard Hornbills Adventure Camp programme. The afternoon is our advertised Camp Extension programme, with a themed workshop and continued play built around the day's adventure. What to expect: - Campfire cooking and outdoor food experiences - Forest School tool use and woodcraft - Knots, lashing, shelter and den building - Ecosystem exploration, pond dipping, environmental science and sustainability - Plant life and wildlife, including insect discovery and chicken-care - Nature crafts with natural materials - Team challenges, adventure games and physical exploration - A different themed afternoon workshop each day Your child should be 6.5 years or older for their first Hornbills Adventure Camp and happy to be dropped off. If your child is 8yrs to 8.5yrs old and this is their first Wildlings camp please enroll them in Hornbills, otherwise please select Eagles.
