At Forest Babies we provide a nurturing and enriching experience for children aged 12 to 24 months, as they take their first steps into a life connected with the great outdoors. Our playgroup serves as a stepping stone for your child's journey toward joining our Forest Cubs sessions for toddlers, when they are ready. Our programme considers the development of the whole child, we provide immersive nature playtime with carefully constructed and guided activities. Our goal is to foster self-confidence, spark curiosity, and cultivate a deep connection with the natural world. Each session is led by our experienced instructors, offering your little ones the chance to take on supported outdoor challenges and explore the enchanting environment of Wildlings, all with the loving support of their caregiver. What to Expect: Engage in a sensory-rich experience with the sights, sounds, smells, tastes, and textures of nature. Encourage creativity with your toddler's first arts and crafts using natural materials. Develop fine and gross motor skills through exciting outdoor activities. Dive into sensory play with water, mud, and even edible plants. Explore our new outdoor classroom and the adjacent nature play garden, providing a safe and stimulating environment for your child's adventures. Our Playgroup Programme: All session start with a little free-play settling in time whilst your baby gets prepared to start the class, followed by: Warm welcome Warm activity Exploration time! Guided activities. Nature Playtime – child-led play Story time to close Optional 30-minutes of extra playtime Please Keep in Mind: Children should be capable of walking independently or with minimal assistance to start the programme Please read the handbook that will be emailed to you before your session. To ensure a focused and enjoyable experience for all, we kindly request that only one adult accompanies each child.
