Welcome to our adventure camp for 8-11-year-olds (years four to six)! Our camp is designed to provide older children with an immersive and enriching experience in the great outdoors, inspired by the Forest School ethos. Our space is designed to provide children with a unique and engaging outdoor learning experience, with plenty of opportunities for exploration, play, and discovery. Experiences: During CNY inspired camp our program, children will have the opportunity to participate in a range of outdoor adventure activities, including: - Wilderness survival skills - Teamwork challenges designed by the participants - Adventure activities such a local nature and heritage hike - Forest School tools and activities, including using whittling knives - Outdoor cooking and campfires - Nature arts and crafts - Environmental education - Nature exploration and observation - Incursions such as parkour, drumming, insect discovery Learning outcomes you can expect: - Physical fitness, coordination, and balance - Critical thinking and problem-solving -Confidence, resilience, and self-esteem - Creativity and imagination - Respect for the natural world and its inhabitants - Social skills, teamwork, and leadership Let's get these city kids outdoors and active!
