About

Welcome to the Eagles Forest School Program at Wildlings! Our engaging outdoor Eagles sessions are designed to cater to the specific needs and interests of children in grades 4 to 6, aged 8 to 11 years old and give them the chance to regularly get outside and play in the wild! Why Choose Eagles Forest School Programme? At this age, children are exploring their independence and interests. Our Eagles Program empowers them to take initiative and fosters their curiosity about the natural world, the wonder, secrets, and opportunities for adventure it contains. Here's why it's the perfect choice for your child: 1. Empowering Independence: Eagles learn valuable life skills such as self-reliance, decision-making, and problem-solving in a supportive environment. 2. Social Growth: We encourage teamwork, collaboration, and leadership through group activities and challenges. 3. Adventure & Exploration: Eagles embark on guided or child-led adventures that nurture a lifelong love for nature and the outdoors. 4. Critical Thinking: Our activities stimulate curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity, encouraging children to question, analyze, and explore. 5. Environmental Stewardship: We instill a deep sense of responsibility and respect for the environment, teaching sustainability and conservation. What to Expect: a) Arrival & Connection: Eagles ground themselves in nature upon arrival, embracing the sense of adventure and detox from the urban environment. b) Welcome Circle & Challenges: Sessions start with group games that foster cooperation, communication, and leadership. c) Exploration & Learning: Eagles can choose to explore independently or join guided activities designed for deeper learning. d) Self-Directed Adventures: We encourage self-directed exploration and play, ensuring safety while allowing children to lead their forest school journey. e) Reflection & Sharing: Each session ends with reflection, where children share their experiences, discoveries, and newfound knowledge. Stay Informed: Parental involvement is integral to your child's growth. After each session, we provide a session summary and a link to a photo album, giving you insight into your Eagle's outdoor experiences. At the end of each term we invite parents into Wildlings to share experiences with their children and the session leaders.
