NEW for Term 2. Forest School comes to West Coast Park. We are expanding our accompanied playgroup to a second location, nestled within the 1 acre City Sprouts Farm at West Coast Park. If you live in the west, this is your chance to give your child a weekly connection with real nature, led by the same qualified Forest School team that runs our established Dempsey programmes. Forest Cubs at WCP is for children aged 18 months to 3.5 years, accompanied by one adult. Children explore a rich, natural environment designed for immersive outdoor play. They dig, splash, climb, create and discover alongside their caregiver, building confidence, curiosity and physical competence from the earliest age. Our programme is designed around a termly theme and supports the development of the whole child. It is planned by qualified Forest School Leaders and adapted to the children in each group. There is no one-size-fits-all at Wildlings. What to expect: - Sensory play with water, sand and natural textures - Nature arts and crafts using sustainable materials - Early introduction to simple tools and adventurous outdoor play - Wildlife discovery and plant exploration - Physical movement across natural terrain Wet weather is part of the adventure. We get outside and find puddles to jump in. In storms, sessions move to our indoor eco-centre on site. Opening soon next to our space is a wellness cafe and centre, making your visit to City Sprouts Farm even more worthwhile. Session structure: Free play arrival (15 min) > Welcome circle and song > Warm-up game > Guided activities > Child-led nature playtime > Calming activity and story time to close > Optional 30 minutes extra playtime This term families are invited to our end-of-term party and our annual Community Festival. In other terms we run family socials such as laser tag (Term 1) and raft building (Term 3). $49.50 per session, paid per term (excl. GST). Free trials available. Returning Forest School families receive a 10% loyalty discount. Sibling discount: 15% off a second, third or fourth child when one child is enrolled at full or loyalty rate.
