Welcome to our outdoor adventure camp for 4-5-year-olds! Our camp is designed to provide young children with an immersive and enriching experience in nature, inspired by the Forest School ethos. We are thrilled to share with you some of the reasons why our camps are awesome: - Child-Led Activities: We encourage a child-led approach that allows children to explore and experiment on their own terms, while also providing guidance and support. - Nature-Based Activities: Our program includes a range of engaging and fun nature-based activities that inspire, challenge, and delight children. From wildlife observation and plant identification to water play and outdoor cooking, our activities are designed to help children develop important skills and outcomes. - Experienced Staff: Our team is composed of experienced staff members who are trained in the Forest School approach and child first aid and are passionate about helping children learn and grow in a safe and supportive environment. - Award-Winning: We are proud to have won Expat Living Readers' Choice Awards recognition three years in a row for our outstanding work in providing an exceptional outdoor experiences for children. - Child Safeguarding: We are certified by Child Safeguarding, ensuring that our campers are safe and well-cared for at all times. - Unique Private Nature Space: Our camp takes place in our beautiful and purposely designed nature space in Dempsey. Our space is designed to provide children with a unique and engaging outdoor learning experience, with plenty of opportunities for exploration, play, and discovery. Experiences: During our three-morning program, children will have the opportunity to participate in a range of adventure activities, choosing from: - Wildlife observation and identification - Plant identification and exploration = Water play and exploration - Team games and challenges - Forest school tools and activities - Nature arts and crafts - Adventure and risky play - Chickens and farm-to-table experiences - Campfires and outdoor cooking Key Learning Outcomes you can expect: - Physical fitness, coordination, and balance - Critical thinking and problem-solving - Confidence, resilience, and self-esteem - Creativity and imagination - Respect for the natural world and its inhabitants - Social skills, teamwork, and leadership We believe that children learn best through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences in the natural world.
